Jonathan Joseph and Sam Underhill featured in England’s Calcutta Cup win against Scotland on Saturday which kept their Guinness Six Nations title hopes alive in an error-ridden contest at Murrayfield.

The score was evenly balanced after 70 minutes at 3-3 thanks to penalties from Owen Farrell and Adam Hastings before Ellis Genge barrelled home for the only try with 10 minutes remaining.

The result meant Scotland fell short of a third-straight Calcutta Cup, but England climb level on points with second-placed Wales, four adrift of unbeaten leaders Ireland.

Hastings added a 78th-minute kick ensuring Gregor Townsend's men pick up a second losing bonus point in as many weekends.

England U20s

England U20s edged a hard-fought encounter for the second week running as they overcame a battling Scotland side 21-17 at Myreside to keep their title hopes intact, with Gabe Hamer-Webb and Max Ojomoh playing their part in the victory.

The visitors took a slender 14-10 lead into the interval with tries from Theo Dan and Freddie Steward either side of Ewan Ashman’s score.

Scotland showed plenty of muscle and creativity to swing the game back in their favour through a penalty try but having defended doggedly, England sealed the win through Connor Doherty’s late score.

Wales

Ireland sent out a statement of intent as they ran in four tries to end Wales' hopes of consecutive Grand Slams with a deserved 24-14 win in Dublin on Saturday.

Taulupe Faletau featured making 10 run, making 27 metres on a difficult afternoon for his side. Tries from Jordan Larmour and Tadhg Furlong, either side of Tomos Williams' reply for Wales, saw the hosts lead 12-7 at half-time in the Six Nations game.

Josh van der Flier's score after the break and Andrew Conway's 75th-minute try sealed the home side's win and Justin Tipuric's injury-time score provided late consolation for Wales.
