Today, Bath Rugby unveils its 2020/21 home kit alongside announcing a new multi-year partnership with Europe’s fastest growing sportswear designers, Macron.

Partnering quality Italian craftmanship with Bath Rugby’s rich heritage, Macron will supply bespoke matchday kits for home, away and Euro fixtures as well as training, travel and leisure wear ranges, including accessories.

Bath Rugby join the likes of international outfits; Wales, Italy and Scotland , and Gallagher Premiership teams Newcastle Falcons and Northampton Saints in partnership with Macron.

With Macron’s focus firmly on supporting sport at all levels – from grassroots and community through to elite teams - we will also have great opportunities to connect further with our 102 regional rugby clubs.”

Macron entered the sports world as a small yet strong player and continues to grow at pace. The brand supports sports teams, sportsmen and women at all levels, by supplying the best technical products to help improve performance.

HOME KIT

For 2020/21, the traditional Blue, Black and White hoops return to the Home jersey with a subtle, sublimated pattern running horizontally across each hoop. Signifying its importance, the Club crest sits on the left, over the heart and the Macron hero, stands to the right. The fresh design boasts a classic black round neck collar complete with a strong gold trim. The back of the shirt is designed with the same traditional Bath Rugby colours and details of the crest are visible as an embossed imprint on the lower back.

The Home jersey is complimented with black shorts, featuring a horizontal zone of Blue, Black and White stripes on the side. The kit completes with blue socks with horizontal black and white bands on the upper section.

The new Bath Rugby Home matchday kit will be worn for the first time against Newcastle Falcons in Round 1 of the Gallagher Premiership on Saturday 21 November.

Like with all Macron products, the aim is to produce the highest performing garment possible to facilitate high performance play on the field and give maximum comfort to players. The jersey is made with Armevo fabric and stretch inserts which make it lightweight and body fitting.

MADE FOR BATH

Following the launch of the new partnership and home kit, Bath Rugby is also proud to introduce its new campaign, ‘Made for Bath’. A story of excellent design and technical kit which is intrinsically woven into our players’ and their development into elite sport.

The campaign evokes a sense of pride and belonging to Bath. We are proud to be represented by a home-grown Director of Rugby, a home-grown Captain who joined the academy in 2009. It’s for the 102 Clubs our community team support and work with, the players nominated to join our age grade teams, those selected for our Academy, or join from the University of Bath…All those dreaming of playing for Bath Rugby – and the parents who share in that dream and make the sacrifices.

We will bring to life the unseen effort our players go to, the processes and practices that make up ‘the Bath way’.
